Introduction

"Hi, I'm Sally and I organize two meetup groups. I'd like to join because I have a friend in Japan with fibromyalgia. Since it is still very unknown there, he needed to change doctors to get the correct diagnosis. I wish to gather more info for him.

How long have you had fibromyalgia?

I don't have fibromyalgia, but I've suffered accute thyroid disease for 2 months.

What are you looking for in a group like this?

I promised my friend to get more information regarding the illness, treatment, new R&D results, etc, which is not available in Japan.

What are your most pressing fibromyalgia issues right now? (these can include everything from crippling pain to problems with family members)

I'm from Japan and fibromyalgia is still unknown illness there. My friend has it but it took many months to get diagnosis since even doctors didn't know and no treatments given. His 25-year-old friend w/fibromyalgia killed himself recently ..
