I think that you did a wonderful job with this meeting, Leslie, one of the best fibro type meet-ups I've been to. Some really great people there from all walks of life. Look forward to more!!! Thanks again, girl!! Irene

CeCe, I'm very sorry your experience was a bad one. No one smokes inside of our apartment (though I can't vouch for the previous renters). I had an air filter turned on but I also had the sliding glass door open and I'm afraid it must have let in smoke from people who smoke out in the apartment complex. I apologize that you had to spend time driving to the meeiting just to turn around and go back home, but I had no idea there would be any trouble.

Leslie, great job. Thank you for putting this together. I got some good ideas from people. But mostly it was nice to feel the warmth from people who get "it" with the whole fibro thing.

    •  it was really nice to meet new people ! everyone was very nice.
    •  It was nice to meet others who are going through the same thing. I don't feel so isolated anymore. Nice, understanding people.

Actually, very, very good. Could be great, but my constant pain doesn't let me get to there. Leslie is very, very caring and I highly recommend it.
    •  It was nice to meet all the participants, I felt comfortable in this group, and I look forward to attend the next meeting and see everyone again.
    •  I thought, overall, the meeting went really well. Some really cool people there. If the group continues to be so large, a time limit on speaking might be helpful.
    •  I felt the meeting was generally good. There was a nice group of people, at least 10, and they were generally supportive when others were talking about their experience. I know Leslie had a difficult time implementing a topic, as many people were still new to the group. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because I feel there's still room to improve in terms of organization, so people aren't speaking all at once. However, since the group is new, I believe the potential is very much there, and Leslie's experience as a social worker helps greatly in trying to organize the conversation, so I feel it will only get better and improve from here on in
