TFSG supports individuals with fibromyalgia and their family and friends. We meet periodically to provide you with the most up to date information about how to manage your symptoms and to provide you and your family and friends with a support network so that the quality of your life is enriched. Our goal is to be a resource for support. It is the small chores that can be so overwhelming and as a group we hope to provide the much needed help and assistance. It is important to reach out in this support group by sharing a little bit about yourself. I wouldn't ask you to compromise your safety and security. However, I am requiring that each new member take time to create an introduction and fill out the questions I crafted so that each member can learn more about you. This is a dialogue about fibromyalgia and not a monologue.

Want to attend?

There are no meetings in June and July. I don't know how the text from May showed up. As I did change it. Perhaps when they upgraded the software. We have only 3 yes responses the day before. I will start up again in August. If you want and need support the next two months, reach out to the group and enjoy the warmth in a wonderful pool.

What members are saying

The yoga session was something I didnt expect to be able to do (even though I used to do yoga regularly).

Yoga helps so much with relaxation and pain relief and general well being and it did tonight.

My name is Michelle. I have been suffering with Fibro for over 10 yrs. It is very important for me to meet other people who can understand what living with Fibro and CF is like. I'm searching for a cure (ha), or at least a way to rid the pain.

I am sad to hear that there are others in Tucson with this crummy pain. Your group sounds as though it could make a big difference in my tendency to isolate. I would love to learn gentle Yoga moves and think that I could handle five minutes!

Thanks Diana for all you do. Everything happens for a reason, and the reason may be that we were supposed to get to know eachother better. You are a wonderful woman. Nice to know you, Lynn.

Norma, Please do make some connections and visit with our members. it is essential for you. I think often we don't nourish ourselves with each other's support. I know it is hard to feel giving and outgoing when you aren't feeling well. Start with email and then calls and visits.

lynn, I enjoyed our visit last Thursday. Keep me up on how much better you are feeling after continued therapies with Dr. Lindsay P and Jeremy.
