- I was recently diagnosed and am really struggling with this illness. I have tried Lyrica which really worked but I gained weight and recently tried Cymbalta which depressed me. I am hoping to hear about the success stories of others for ideas.

ng for a doctor who actually understands/cares. Am I right in saying you stopped the Lyrica because it caused wt. gain and tried Cymbalta which depressed you? I can't take SSRI's-they cause extreme panic attacks in me. My sister takes Lyrica and complains about belly fat increase. I don't know which is worse!
